TREKKING IN KASHMIR
Duration:-6 Nights/ 7 Days
Destinaiton:Srinagar - Sonamarg - Nichinai - Gadsar - Vishensar - Krishensar - Sonamarg - Srinagar.
Day 1 Srinagar
Arrival in Srinagar and transfer to the houseboats/hotel.
Overnight stay – houseboats/hotel.
Day 2 Sonamarg
Leave Srinagar for Sonamarg (84 km – 3 hours drive), a summer resort presenting a diversified landscape, a Meadow of Gold .
Overnight in tents.
Day 3 Nichinai
13 km trek for about 6 hours takes to Nichinai. The initial trek is a descent along side the Sindh stream.
Overnight in tents.
Day 4 Gadsar
First step climb of about 150 metres you to Krishensar, then 300 metres ascend to the top of the pass (4,190 M) to Visensar. Covering about total 15 km distance takes you to Gadsar (3,550 M).
Overnight in tents.
Day 5 Vishensar - Krishensar
About 5 hours of gradual ascent takes you to the top of snow bound Nichinai pass (4,407 M) and after descent to the Vishenar valley surrounded by the lofty mountains. (13 km from Nichinai to Vishensar). There after climb about 150 m takes you to krishensar .
Overnight in tents .
Day 6 Krishensar - Sonamarg
A steep discent about 6 hours journey takes you to the back to Sonamarg. A summer resort presenting diversified landscapes and golden meadows.
Overnight in tents.
Day 7 Sonamarg - Srinagar
After breakfast watch pleasant view of the golden meadows and later drive to Srinagar. Overnight in houseboats.

When I arrived in India for the first time, I thought I could easily travel by my own without an organised planning and trip but I quicly realised how complicated it was for a woman to travel alone. India is a spacial and amazing country but you have to be careful. I was a bit lost when I arrived in Delhi Tourism Services offices. M.KUMAR Ajay did his best to explain a lot of things about Indian culture and told me it was safer to travel with a bit of organisation.
